OUR CLIENTS

Some of Our Clients and What They Say

Economic Development Professional

The Economic & Community Development Committee and the County of Barrhead found a tremendous value in Cathy’s methods of approaching citizen engagement and collaboration for our project. It led to building stronger relations with our stakeholders, and invited new voices to the table. Members of the community, land owners, the Chamber of Commerce and Council were all very pleased at how the collaborative efforts paid off in the final report. As well, Cathy was very professional, quickly accessible throughout the project, punctual in meeting progress timeframes (even though they were tight), kept to budget, and gave us excellent reporting and moving forward actions. A very positive experience!

Cathy I could not be more pleased, to have met you and continue to work with you and your company. I have talked with you and heard you speak often, in my roles; first as the Viking Community Recreation Director and now in my current role as Economic Development Officer.
Cathy you have been such a resource, around your knowledge, your professional connections and (current and past) project scope understandings.  I see such opportunity for my community and area working with you. You have a sincere ear and point of view, which grounds me and sets direction.
The EDO role is new for the Town of Viking and as I continue to network; Killick Leadership will continue to be my first contact, as I look to develop projects and opportunities for our areas.

Leadership Development

Inuvik Native Band has been more than pleased and satisfied to have engaged with the knowledge, expertise and wisdom of Cathy Goulet and her business, Killick Leadership Group. We met three years ago at a INAC sponsored event in Yellowknife, I liked her style and persona, we spoke, made arrangements for further work, and we have blossomed from there. Cathy and her team are a diverse and very capable crew, their work is outstanding and very expertly delivered.  We have been more than satisfied with their work and we continue to engage Cathy and her team on the growing variety or projects with we create to achieve the growth and direction that this First Nation Band needs. The vast array of skills, knowledge and expertise that comprises her team is invaluable and such a great support to have as we continue to re-establish and develop our organization. I highly recommend her and her team to others.

As a mentor to emerging leaders, you have modelled the way by motivating, challenging and empowering colleagues, knowing it is the people within an organization who create the success of the organization.

The career coaching sessions from Killick Leadership gave me the opportunity to reflect on my current career, future options and what work makes me most passionate. From these discussions and their guidance, I’ve built the confidence to make impactful decisions about my career and create a greater sense of personal satisfaction.

Cathy Goulet from Killick Leadership was a great asset to all of Council and Administration in helping achieve Smoky Lake County’s new direction for the upcoming years. Several sessions were held, the leadership, style and professionalism of Killick Leadership was much appreciated by all who attended. This refreshing collaborative style has given us a great new direction for our county.

Killick Leadership’s Project Management Workshop gave my team the fundamentals of good design, planning and implementation.  We came away with three project plans and increased confidence in our ability to deliver. Cathy Goulet delivers a high-energy, engaging workshop with real outcomes.

Speaking Engagements

As the keynote speaker for the Central Alberta Economic Partnership’s fall general meeting, Cathy Goulet was engaging and energetic. Her presentation on regional economic development and the role of leadership was well researched and thought provoking. The members of CAEP appreciated the knowledge and perspective Cathy brought and provided many positive comments.

Kimberly Worthington Executive Director CAEP April 29, 2019

Cathy Goulet did an admirable job moderating the federal election all-candidate forum for Lakeland Riding in October 2015 at St. Michael… She was able to maintain control of the program throughout the evening, deflecting confrontative statements towards the candidates. I would highly recommend her for similar facilitation opportunities.
